Ratchet style tightener to be used online (do not cut wire) with polywire and polytape. It takes up the tension in long stretches of poly-style fences.

This is a small plastic strainer that will stop electric fence twine from sagging. It's small & lightweight so relatively unobtrusive and can be installed easily at the end of a fence line to adjust the tension.

The conducting line is threaded through the central mechanism and the central pin grips the tine when wound up for tensioning. There is a ratchet to prevent the twine from unraveling which when pressed will release the line if you have to let it freer.

This tensioner will not store many lines but is meant purely to keep the fence taught when it sags through expansion.

Made from strong reinforced plastic, this strainer is suitable for twine or wire up to 2.5mm in diameter.
