Product Overview
The INS078 white egg insulator uses deep grooves to hold wire, poly wire and poly braid securely at an end strain point. Made from tough HDPE, its rounded egg shape spreads tension evenly while the grooves stop the conductor from slipping sideways. A 10 mm channel lets the wire run through cleanly, keeping the fence tidy and electrically reliable.

Where To Use
The egg insulator is well suited to end strain positions on high tension fences for cattle, sheep, goats and deer, and it also suits temporary poly braid runs where a strong, non-abrasive anchor is needed. Its rounded profile is easy to see against pasture and reduces snag points along the fence.
Installation Tips
Fix the insulator to the end post at the height of the wire line, then pass the conductor through the groove and tie it off with the recommended knot. Keep the run straight into the groove so the conductor does not ride over the edge. Check the grooves for wear when re-tensioning the fence.
