Product Overview
The INS073 deep groove end strain insulator is supplied in black HDPE or fibreglass and is designed for medium tension electric fencing. Its generous 8 mm channel lets wire and poly products pass through freely, while the grooved shoulders hold the conductor in place. At 30 g, the fitting adds little weight yet stands up to daily pasture duty.

Where To Use
This insulator is used at corners and end posts of medium tension fences on farms and ranches, including cattle, horse and sheep paddocks. It also serves on temporary poly wire runs where the conductor must be re-tensioned from season to season without damaging the wire.
Installation Tips
Mount the insulator on the end post so the groove opening faces the wire run, then feed the conductor through the 8 mm channel and secure it. Keep the pull in line with the groove to avoid side loading. Replace any fitting that shows deep scoring where the wire has cut into the plastic.
