Loading considerations
Long items dictate how a container is filled, so the carton footprint is kept tight around the shell. Nesting is not possible with a moulded trough, which makes the pack dimensions the single most useful figure when planning a mixed load. Order the trough with other long goods and the load plan can be built around one length.
For the dealer shelf
The carton protects the rim during handling and carries handling marks and product identification, so a distributor can receive, store and resell without repacking. One piece per pack also means stock counts match purchase orders exactly.
What the end user gets
Under the carton is the same insulated six-hole trough used on dairy farms: float valve, 100 to 120 litres per minute refill, and a drinking height that suits cattle, sheep and horses. Offset feet allow installation on gravel or concrete.
