Product Overview
The INS098 porcelain donut insulator is a fired ceramic fitting with a smooth white glaze. An 11 mm hole through the centre takes a post or bolt, and the 40 mm diameter, 41 mm high body insulates wire at a corner or end of the fence. Porcelain resists heat, moisture and UV far better than plastic, giving a long service life.

Where To Use
The INS098 is used at corner and end posts where a durable, high-insulation fitting is needed, including permanent fences on farms, orchards and gardens. Its glazed ceramic body is well suited to hot, wet or high-UV locations where plastic insulators age quickly.
Installation Tips
Slide the donut over the post or bolt through the 11 mm hole and seat it so the wire runs cleanly around the outer groove. Tension the conductor against the ceramic edge and check that the fitting cannot rotate. Inspect the glaze each season and replace any chipped piece.
